One of our favorite photos by photographer
Henry Diltz. We love to cook, both in the kitchen and on
stage. "Hey, don't get that beurre blanc sauce on my sax!" |
|
A favorite photo taken by one of our adoring
fans when we came back to the Bay Area to perform during our
stint in NYC.

"The Three Musketeers"
Dean Reilly, Eddie Duran and Benny Barth. One of Eddie's favorite
promo photos, done for their album, Ginza, recorded for Concord
Records. |

Backstage after a performance at the Sacramento
Art Museum. The nice guy in the middle is bassist, Richard Saunders,
a member of our happy jazz family.

Just trying to sell my music
of course, being "coy" has helped us get a few gigs
over the years. |

Eddie would not be outdone! After seeing how
great I looked in royal blue, he grabbed my blouse, earrings
and necklace and one-upped me! "You're not the only one
who can look like a million bucks all dressed up!"

Our photographer, Toshihiro
Suzuki, had the great idea that a bit of wine would make the
photo shoot go more smoothly. It did for me, but I'm not sure
it had the same affect on Eddie. |
|
One of my favorite photos of Eddie, taken by
photographer Alice Su in New York.

"What, give up show biz after
clawing my way to the top?" As you can probably tell from
the way he plays, Eddie's a real tough guy. |

This stunning photo was taken a few days after
we moved to Greenwich Village. Yes, it's true
I'm the
photographer in this one and that lovely backdrop is the wall
of our apartment. I propped our Kodak camera up on a tri-pod,
set the timer, hurtled all the instrument cases in high heels,
snuggled up to Eddie and plastered that smile on my face in
just 10 seconds. Impressive, eh?

A terrible picture of a fabulous
group. What we lacked in promo materials, we made up for in talent.
This is a pack of some heavy hitters in jazz: Al Plank, Larry
Grenadier, Eddie Duran, Mad Duran and Vince Lateano. |
